Basic Beauty tips for your face equals a beautiful radiating face, which is what every girl wants to have. But it’s not that easy to achieve. You have to take extra care of your face and skin and take extra care to look after it. We generally have a tendency to disregard the basic rules that can work wonders for your skin and go a long way to keep your skin healthy.
Here’s a list of 8 Basic beauty tips for your face and the things you need to do to achieve a beautiful and radiating face.
Basic beauty tips for your face 1.) A good night’s sleep is number one on our list. Keeping a check on your sleeping hours, is a must, no matter what products you are using. At least 8 hours sleep a day, is really important, it the only time your body relaxes and can work on repairing any damaged cells. It also prevents dark circles and helps to prevent premature aging.
Basic beauty tips for your face 2.) An adjusted eating regimen is an unquestionable requirement. A balanced diet is a must, it’s important for your skin. No products can come to your rescue if you don’t eat sufficient fruit and vegetables. You also need to avoid as much as possible of oily and fermented foods and cut down on sugar and salt as much as possible. By switching to more healthy foods in your daily lifestyle, you will start to notice the results very quickly. Just small things like drinking green tea instead of tea or coffee. Green tea is full of skin friendly anti-oxidants. Give honey a try instead of sugar. Replace cupcakes and cookies with fruits.
Basic beauty tips for your face 3.) You cannot get away from physical action: Whether it’s high impact exercise, aerobics, yoga, walking, jogging or any kind of exercise that interest you, ought to be on your list for healthy skin and its benefits do not need to be emphasised! It helps to improve blood circulation and helps in pushing toxins out of your body. Start taking the stairs instead of the lift or escalators, try walking to nearby places instead of taking the car. You will burn up calories before realising it.
Basic beauty tips for your face 4.) Know your skin type: now let’s talk about your daily products. It’s really important to understand your skin type (oily, dry, normal or combination) and choose your products wisely. Make sure your regular cream suits your skin and that it’s not loaded with harsh chemicals. The same applies for your shampoo and conditioner too.
Basic beauty tips for your face 5.) Make water your best friend: This sounds simple, but most of us conveniently avoid it. Water keeps your skin hydrated, that in turn helps to push toxins out of the body, plus it works wonders for your metabolism and aids digestion. You daily intake must be at least eight glasses and you can also sip fresh fruit juices (not the canned ones) to increase your fluid consumption.
Basic beauty tips for your face 6.) Don’t step out without sun screen: A sunscreen is the unsung hero behind any spotless skin. It protects your skin from harsh sun rays and keeps pigmentation at bay. We generally pull it out when heading outdoors on a sunny day. But experts suggest using it every morning, whether it’s a cloudy day, or if you plan to stay indoors and it should be re-applied every two hours.
Basic beauty tips for your face 7.) Remove your makeup: No matter how tired you are or how much makeup you have applied, make it a ground rule to remove every bit of it before going to bed. That is the only time the skin gets to breathe freely and work on itself. It helps in preventing breakouts and zits. Invest in a good makeup remover and then follow up with a face wash. In case you don’t want to splash out on a makeup remover, simply head to the humble olive oil and it will serve the purpose. P.S Look for ones that are alcohol and fragrance free.
Basic beauty tips for your face 8.) Always follow CTM routine: When you are done with removing every inch of makeup, it’s the time to head for your cleansing, toning and moisturising regimen. It’s the golden rule to wake up with gorgeous skin and it requires just a few minutes every day. Cleansing helps to remove all the dirt that you have accumulated in the entire day. A good toner will help remove whatever dirt, oil and that have been left behind by the cleanser. Plus, it plays a great role in soothing and hydrating the skin. Most importantly, it helps in restoring the pH balance of your skin and closes the open pores.
Many are not aware that your day moisturiser can’t double as your night cream. A good night cream is of a thicker texture and provides your skin the much needed moisture. Plus, it contains more concentrated ingredients than your day cream and in higher does. You can invest in one depending upon your skin problems and it will turn out to be a great beauty booster!
Kat Von D Super Sonic Everlasting Glimmer Veil Liquid Lipstick Review, Photos, Swatches
Kat Von D Super Sonic Everlasting Glimmer Veil Liquid Lipstick ($22.00 for 0.18 oz.) is a medium-dark, coppery brown with warm, red undertones and flecks of green and gold sparkle. It had semi-opaque coverage in a single layer on its own, and it was buildable to full coverage with a second layer. The texture was thin and felt watery going on, but it dried down to a transfer-resistant stain (but the product breaks down in water). The base definitely leaves a strong stain behind, even as the color wore away over a 10-hour period. The formula was a bit drying over time.
This was an “Everlasting Flash” shade, so it was released for 48-hours, and I’m not certain if or when it will be returning (the brand just says “limited edition” and that it was “only” going to be available during the flash sale).
The formula is supposed to have “24-hour wear” with a “liquid stain base” that “feels like nothing” on the lips that can be worn “on its own” or layered “as a veil” over another lip color. There’s a lot to like about the formula, and I think as far as the concept of “lip toppers” go, it offers the versatility of actually being easy enough to apply to wear on its own but still be useful layered over other products for a shimmering effect. The doe-foot applicator worked well with the formula, as it spread the color and sparkly bits across the lips quite evenly. The coverage ranged from shade to shade with most having medium, buildable coverage in a single layer, which was in line with the description. They dried down and were transfer-resistant (until eating/drinking/licking of lips) but still had a great shimmering effect that made them look wet, even when they dried. They were more comfortable to wear than I anticipated–lightweight and just a little drying.
One of the bigger downsides is that it’s not going to wear 24 hours. Just about every single shade (all but Thunderstruck) stained my lips intensely, which helped prolong the wear, but the product breaks down with water, just plain water, and of course, it is removable by a slew of removers, including oil which one might encounter during a meal. I found deeper shades stained well but removed unevenly and left behind stained lines and patches on my lips that did not dissipate for almost 24-hours post wear. I didn’t notice that the lip color did not take well to water initially, as I didn’t see any transfer on my glasses, but when I rinsed after I brushed my teeth (where I cup water in my hands, so less elegant than drinking from a glass), I had lip color running like crazy.
This led me to pay even more attention the next time I wore the formula, and sure enough, color lifted with just a sip of water and transferred onto things like paper (but not glassware) and the back of my hand. Some shades made it through meals better than others with the worst offenders lifting more noticeably from the center of the lips. The formula survives some eating and drinking, but the more you drink, the less it survives, and even careful eating/drinking yielded noticeably faded wear between eight and twelve hours of wear. I don’t think a brand would advocate 24-hour wear but expect you not to eat, drink, or even brush your teeth! I would consider it long-wearing in the grand scheme of things with solid six to ten hour wear depending on the shade. They do stain significantly less when layered over something like the brand’s Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks but can seep through more emollient lipstick formulas.

Anastasia Holiday 2017 Mini Liquid Lipstick Trio Review, Photos, Swatches
Anastasia Holiday 2017 Mini Liquid Lipstick Trio ($25.00 for 0.24 oz.) contains three, miniature-sized liquid lipsticks with two shades being new and exclusive to the set. They performed in line with the brand’s more recently released liquid lipsticks–pigmented, long-wearing, a bit drying–so if you’ve wanted to try the formula or typically enjoy it, the set is certainly worth considering as it offers a good amount of product for the price.
A full-sized liquid lipstick retails for $20.00 and contains 0.11 fl. oz. or costs $181.82/oz. This set contains $43.64 worth of product.
Dazed is a bright, medium-dark plum with strong, warm red undertones and a matte finish. This shade is part of the permanent range, so it can be purchased on its own. It had opaque color payoff in a single layer. The texture was lightweight, smooth without being runny, and easy to control for even application on the lips, but it seemed a bit more prone to pulling into my lip lines. The liquid lipstick wore for over six hours and felt a touch drying after a few hours of wear.
Bittersweet is a deep, reddish brown with soft, warm undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was smooth, fluid without being watery or too thin, and easy to spread across the lips for even coverage. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer and a moderately long dry down. I felt like it dried down for the most part within 15-30 seconds but the edges took a bit longer (2-3 minutes). The color stayed on well for over six hours and was slightly drying.
Hudson is a muted, medium peachy brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. The pigmentation was opaque in one layer, while the texture was smooth, not too thick or too thin, but it seemed to appear “thicker” on the lips compared to the other two shades. I had no trouble applying or spreading the color across my lips for even, opaque coverage. The dry down on this was a bit longer than the other two but nothing too long. It lasted for six hours and was slightly drying after five hours on me.
